1 packet of Lup Chong

Method

Steam Lup Chong for 15 minutes over rapidly boiling water or over steam on top of rice to impart flavour into the rice. Cut into thin diagonal slices and garnish with shallots and light soy sauce.

Serving Suggestion

· Serve with steamed rice or noodles and with steamed vegetables;

· As a filling in a bread roll or as an in a sushi roll.

IngredientsFried Rice

6 sliced Lup Chong

4 cup of rice

1 diced onion

100g of green peas

2 diced fried egg

1 diced shallots

Light Soy Sauce

Method

Heat oil in wok, stir-fry Lup Chong and onion 2 min, add green peas, egg omelette, rice until hot, put a dash of seasonings and shallot, mix together and serve.

IngredientsStir-Fried Noodles

Hokkien Noodles

4 sliced Lup Chong

1 sliced onion

1 sliced capsicum

250g bean sprouts

sliced shallots

Method

Heat oil in wok, stir-fry Lup Chong and onion 2 minutes, add capsicum, bean sprouts, noodle until hot , put a dash of seasoning and shallot, mix together and serve

IngredientsLup Chong Potato Omelette

4 finely sliced Lup Chong

2 Large Eggs

3 Julienne Potato

2 Sliced Onion

Method

Fry Lup Chong and onion until brown, then add potatoes and simmer until cooked, then add beaten eggs and cook for 4 minutes.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with steamed rice
